Why healing from the parental wound matters?
Traumatic wounds are created whether your parent was overbearing or absent. Whether they took inappropriate actions or took no positive actions. If they took too little or too much interest in you. It may have been the interactions between your parents or other adults that resulted in your traumatisation. You may have felt the need to protect a sibling or another family member. Feeling unsafe, unwanted or not good enough as a child creates a deep wound.
Healing this wound requires you to acknowledge and build a nurturing relationship with your inner child. Understanding what triggers your emotions and negative thoughts creates an essential foundation of self-awareness. Learn to create space and stillness with intense feelings and negative thoughts with mindset tools. Release the intensity so you’re able to acknowledge the wound in a way that’s comfortable whilst also learning to regulate your emotions.
Taking responsibility to heal yourself matters enormously. It demonstrates an empowered state to your inner child. It creates new evidence of self-love and self-care that nourishes the wounded parts of yourself. By taking small manageable steps now, you can begin to consistently show up as the adult you desire to be. You deserve a life filled with joy, contentment, and freedom to be whoever you wish to be.

Firstly, I will assess and learn the ways your life is affected. I will support you to clarify the outcome(s) you desire as well as the thoughts, feelings and behaviours you want/need as a constant in your life. After this, I will create a personalised roadmap suggesting the number of sessions and the essential tools to support your journey. EMDR and Hypnotherapy will be the primary tools for healing from trauma.
By the end of your journey with me, you will have a range of personalised tools you can use whenever you want or need a boost.
As a coach my goal is to support you to find the best ways to heal yourself. After our sessions end you will have the confidence and capability to continue your personal growth journey, which I highly recommend.
