You have built something. A career, a family, a life that holds up well from the outside. And somewhere underneath it, something has been running you rather than the other way round.

I am Roksana. I am a transformation coach and clinical hypnotherapist, and I work with women who are capable, accomplished, and privately worn out by the effort of holding it all together. Sessions are online, wherever you are in London. If you would rather sit in a room, I am in St Albans, about 21 minutes from St Pancras on the fastest trains.

Where you probably are

You are not here for someone to tell you what the problem is

You can name it. You can probably trace where it started. You have read about it, thought it through, and explained it to a friend over dinner.

And it still runs.

  • You are the capable one. At work, at home, in your family. The person everyone leans on, and nobody is holding the other end
  • You perform well and feel like a fraud while you do it
  • You are tired in a way a holiday does not reach
  • You have a good life and a private sense that you are not really inside it
  • Something small happens, you react, and then you spend the evening wondering where that came from
  • You have had counselling, read the book, listened to a podcast. It helped, and then it faded

Insight and change are two different pieces of work. Most of us only ever get offered the first one.

The London question

Why your coach does not need to be in London

You searched for a life coach in London, so let me be straight with you about where I am.

I am in St Albans. Almost all of my London clients work with me online, and the work loses nothing for it. Coaching, hypnotherapy, NLP and tapping all translate to a screen. What matters is what happens in the ninety minutes, not the room it happens in.

Three things make this easier rather than a compromise.

No extra journey

If you already spend an hour or more a day travelling, the last thing you need is another trip across town at the end of it. You close the laptop and you are already home.

You choose on fit, not postcode

You are about to say things out loud that you have not said before. Whether the person opposite you is the right person matters considerably more than whether she is twenty minutes away.

In person is there if you want it

St Albans City is on Thameslink, about 21 minutes from St Pancras on the fastest trains, with Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars and London Bridge on the same direct line. Some women come out once or twice and do the rest online.

One method is in-person only. EMDR helps process memories and sensations that still carry a physical charge, and I only ever use it face to face. It is not part of Groundwork and it is optional even later on. If it turns out to be the right tool for you, we will talk about it when we get there.

Roksana Hussein

Transformation Coach since 2018

Who you'll be working with

Hi, I'm Roksana

I did not arrive at this work from the outside.

I spent fifteen years in the NHS, in a demanding senior role, living and working in London. On paper I was doing well. I had come through years of infertility, miscarriage and the grief that goes with that. I had two small children. And I had become genuinely exceptional at appearing to have everything under control.

I did not have it under control. I was running on empty and calling it coping.

Moving out of London did not fix it. Neither did going back to work, or the polished version of myself I kept putting out. What changed things was doing the work underneath, properly. My own repair was convoluted. There were few people back then who could hold a space for all of me, so I assembled it from pieces and did a good deal of it alone. You should not have to.

That is the arc I now walk women through. Surviving, which you are probably doing beautifully and at real cost. Then the awkward middle, where the old identity stops fitting and the new one has not arrived. Then the part nobody warns you about, where you are not simply functioning. You are actually in your life.

I have been coaching women since 2018.

How I work

Why this holds when the last thing did not

If you have tried counselling, read the books and listened to the podcasts, and found it helped and then faded, the fading was not your fault and it was not a failure of willpower.

Talking about a pattern engages the part of your mind that already understands it. The part actually running the pattern was formed long before you had language, and it does not respond to being reasoned with. It responds to different tools.

So I do not only talk with you.

  • Coaching, for the part of you that needs direction, structure and someone holding you to it
  • Clinical hypnotherapy, for beliefs that formed before you had words for them
  • NLP, for the automatic responses that fire before you get to choose
  • EFT, or tapping, for the moments your body reacts faster than your thinking
  • EMDR, in person only, for memories and sensations that still carry a physical charge

You do not pick between these. I match them to what is in front of us, session by session. It is the single most common reason women tell me the change held this time.

Roksana has been my Transformation Coach for the last 3-4 months. The sessions with Roksana have been extremely effective in helping me tackle some big challenges. What is great is Roksana's diligent and methodological process to understand you, get close to your subconscious and persevere using the range of tools she has. She is absolutely non-judgemental, honest and explains things in a good level of detail.

Roksana will work with you in a collaborative fashion by giving her recommendations / suggestions, whilst also taking on board any feedback.

I trust Roksana - her intention is to help you shift and breakthrough in as many sessions as possible.

I have had several different coaches and therapists, which have not lasted. Roksana is someone I will stick with until she retires!

Highly recommend!

Where to begin

Begin with Groundwork

There is one place to start, and it is deliberately not a ten-session commitment. The first five sessions of my work are the same arc for every woman. We honour what you have been carrying, understand where it came from, resource you with tools that work in the actual moment rather than afterwards, and build your capacity to hold your own life without bracing against it.

One to One · Phase One

Groundwork

£795

Five sessions of 90 minutes · free consultation first

  • Five sessions of ninety minutes. Seven and a half hours of one-to-one time
  • A personalised audio after each session, so the work carries on between us
  • Support between sessions by voice note, message or email
  • Coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP and EFT, matched to you rather than to a template
  • Online via Zoom, or in person in St Albans if you prefer
  • A judgement-free, deeply held space

£795 in total. If you are weighing this against sessions billed one at a time, the difference is that you know the whole cost and the whole shape of it before you begin. It can be paid in two instalments if that suits you better, and the total is the same either way.

Groundwork is a complete first chapter, and plenty of women finish it and stop there because they have what they came for. If you want to go further into one specific thing afterwards, there is a second phase called Heartwood, which I offer personally to the women who complete Groundwork. You do not need to think about that today.

Making it fit

Fitting this around a life that is already full

Five sessions, spread at a pace that suits you rather than a pace that suits me.

  • Saturday mornings, 9am to 2pm
  • Weekday evenings
  • Online, so there is no commute attached to it
  • Tools that can be carried anywhere and used discreetly at work, on a crowded train or in the comfort of your home
  • There is practice between sessions. It is where the work settles into you rather than staying an idea, and it is the reason the change holds

Most women tell me the work gives energy back rather than taking it. That is not a line. It is what happens when you stop spending so much of yourself holding a pattern in place.

Understanding

Some of it you will not have to explain

I am a British Pakistani woman and I have straddled two cultures my whole life.

Women from a wide range of backgrounds tell me on our first call that it mattered to them to find someone who would not need the context spelled out. Duty. Family expectation. Being the first in your family to do something, and the particular loneliness that lives inside that achievement. Being close to your family and needing something they would not recognise as a need. Not feeling entirely at home in either place.

London is the most culturally mixed part of the country, so this comes up here more than anywhere else I work.

This is not about sharing a background with me. Most of the women I work with do not. It is about not having to translate yourself before you can begin. If you were looking specifically for a coach who shares your heritage, you can read more about working with a coach who understands being between cultures.

Kind words

From women who were where you are

I cannot recommend Roksana enough! After struggling with divorce, grief, burnout and a new life I was feeling overwhelmed and needed someone who was specialising in helping women like me heal deeply. I knew my inner child was hurting but I did not have the tools to do all the work myself. Roksana held my hand through the process step by step whilst also holding me accountable to do the work!

Roksana taught me the beauty of having "sacred pauses". Her learnings and approach are amazing. Should you be looking to heal your inner child wounds look no further than this amazing lady. I am forever in your debt Roksana.

Kiran, solicitorGoogle review, November 2024

There's a very good reason why Roksana is called a transformation coach because she really did transform my life. She gave me some very potent tools to be able to calm my nervous assistance at periods when I felt like my whole world would fall apart. She helped me dig very deep into what was really holding me back from success, and gave me so much clarity to help me move forward. I don't think I can recommend her enough because she is absolutely incredible and I had no idea that she would really make such a huge difference in my life. It's been an absolute pleasure working with her And I cannot wait to see how my life unfolds Beautifully as a result of the work we did together.

Roksana has a very good way of understanding your needs and create a tailored approach right for you. My main objective of being coached by Roksana was to become a more confident public speaker. I spoke at a global event of 1,000 people about my book. The day went so well and I was awestruck by the response I got from the audience.

Roksana helped me reach my objective in terms of voicing my opinions and spread my message more confidently about the issues that matter to me the most.

Dhipa, best-selling author

Roksana had the training and the experience to address everything, not just a professional but an efficient manner, and I felt like I was in safe hands. Having a coach is having someone quite unique. You won't get the advice or the help that a coach will give you from friends, from family or from colleagues, because that person is completely out of all those different spheres, and gives you tailor-made independent advice. You won't get that anywhere else.

Questions women in London ask

Good to know

Do I have to travel to St Albans?

No. Online is how most of my London clients work with me, and it is the default. In person is available if you want it, and one method, EMDR, is in person only. That is not part of Groundwork.

Is this therapy?

No, and I will not pretend otherwise. I am a coach, a clinical hypnotherapist and an advanced EMDR coach, not a psychotherapist or a psychiatrist. The work is present and future focused, and we go into the past only where the past is still driving something. If what you need is clinical treatment, I will tell you on our call and help you find the right person.

I have already had counselling. Will this be the same thing again?

It will not feel the same. Counselling gave you understanding, which is real and worth having. This adds the tools that work on the part of the mind that understanding does not reach. Several of the women on this page came to me after therapy that had helped and then worn off.

What if I cannot name what is wrong?

That is common and it is not a barrier. Plenty of women arrive able only to say that something is not right. Finding out what it actually is happens to be the first part of the work.

Ninety minutes sounds like a long session.

It is longer than the standard hour on purpose. It takes time to settle, and the deepest part of a session tends to arrive after the point where a fifty-minute appointment would be ending.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. Everything you share stays between us, and I work to the ACCPH code of ethics.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. You can split it into two payments. The total is £795 either way, and nothing is added for paying in two parts.

What if I need to move a session?

Life happens, and sessions can be moved. I ask for 24 hours' notice. A session changed or cancelled with less notice than that is charged in full, because the time has been held for you and cannot be offered to anyone else.

What I can help you with

Whatever you are carrying, there is a way through

I support women through a wide range of challenges, always in a safe, judgement-free space. Explore the area that speaks to you.

Not sure where you sit? That is exactly what the free consultation is for.

Is it your time now?

You have managed for a long time, and you have managed well. That was never in question. The question is what the managing has been costing you, and whether you want to carry on paying it.

One conversation. Twenty minutes. Free, and no pressure from me at the end of it. If I am not the right person for you, I will tell you.

Stay curious. Stay open. Stay intentional.
