Managing addictive tendencies
One-to-one coaching for women caught in a cycle they want to break, to understand what lies beneath it and build a steadier, kinder relationship with yourself.
Book your free 20-minute consultationDo you ever feel caught in habits or behaviours you wish you could break, but somehow keep returning to? Maybe it's food, shopping, social media, substances, or other coping patterns that give temporary relief but leave you feeling worse afterwards. You may notice yourself saying "just this once", only to find yourself stuck in the same cycle again and again.
Addictive tendencies are often less about the behaviour itself and more about what lies beneath, the unmet needs, unprocessed pain, or difficult emotions that feel hard to face. Over time, these habits can impact your health, relationships, confidence, and sense of self-worth.
You don't have to stay stuck in the cycle. Change is possible, and it begins with compassion and understanding.
How addictive tendencies may be affecting you
- Turning to habits that give temporary comfort but leave you feeling guilty or ashamed.
- Struggling to control impulses or cravings, even when you "know better."
- Feeling isolated, secretive, or disconnected from loved ones.
- Experiencing stress, anxiety, or low mood linked to your coping patterns.
- Believing you'll never be able to break free.
What you'll experience in our work together
Together, we'll create a safe, non-judgemental space to explore what lies beneath the addictive tendency and develop tools for lasting change.
- Understand your triggers: notice the emotions, situations, or thoughts that drive the behaviour.
- Learn emotional regulation: develop healthier ways to soothe and manage stress or discomfort.
- Explore the root cause: gently uncover the deeper wounds, unmet needs, or past experiences fuelling the cycle.
- Build healthier patterns: replace destructive habits with practices that support your wellbeing.
- Empower self-belief: regain trust in yourself and your ability to make positive choices.
This is coaching support for the patterns beneath the behaviour, not a substitute for medical or clinical treatment. Where a dependency needs specialist care, I'll always say so and help you find the right support.
As you learn to manage addictive tendencies, you'll begin to feel freer and more in control. The urges that once felt overwhelming will hold less power, giving you time to pause and choose your response, with healthier coping strategies and greater emotional balance. Most importantly, you'll reconnect with a sense of self-worth, knowing you are capable of lasting change.
This work isn't about blame or shame. It's about healing from the inside out, so you can create a new relationship with yourself, one based on care, respect, and resilience.
"I now know it's because the root of the issues were never truly healed, only masked... Roksana has changed my life. For the first time in my life I feel like I have switched lanes, I'm now on a NEW path, and the path I'm on now is heading in the right direction."
